Email Settings
The Email Settings page allows users to configure their email account to enable seamless integration with Mfluence. This setup is essential for features such as Mailbox, Helpdesk, and Email Campaigns, which require email send/receive access.

Configuration Fields
General Settings
- Email Provider: Select your email service provider (e.g., Gmail).
- Email Address (Username): Enter the full email address to be used for communication.
- App Password: Provide the secure application-specific password generated by your email provider (especially necessary for Gmail accounts with 2FA enabled).
IMAP Settings (Receiving Emails)
- IMAP Host: The incoming mail server (e.g.,
imap.gmail.comfor Gmail). - IMAP Port: The port used for incoming mail (commonly
993). - SSL: Set to
Trueto ensure secure communication via SSL.
SMTP Settings (Sending Emails)
- SMTP Host: The outgoing mail server (e.g.,
smtp.gmail.com). - SMTP Port: The port used for outgoing mail (commonly
587). - SSL: Set to
Trueto enable secure sending.
Saving Your Settings
Once all fields are correctly filled out, click the Save Settings button to apply the configuration. The system will attempt to validate the credentials and establish a secure connection to the mail servers.
Notes
- Ensure that your email account allows IMAP/SMTP access.
- For Gmail users, enabling App Passwords in Google Account > Security is required.
- Use correct ports and SSL settings based on your provider.
